Predicting The Texas Longhorns vs The Ohio State Buckeyes Game
The Texas Longhorns are coming off of a 10-3 record under Head Coach Steve Sarkisian. The Longhorns are coming into the 2026 Season with 19 transfers, most notable being Cam Coleman, Auburn wide receiver transfer, along with Ryan Wingo, and transfer running back from NC State Hollywood Smothers replacing Tre Wisner. Along with getting two new offensive linemen in Laurence Seymore at left guard and Melvin Siani, very experienced linemen.

UIL State Committee Denies Eligibility Appeal for Five-Star Cornerback John Meredith III
The UIL State Executive Committee handed down a major decision on Thursday, denying John Meredith III's eligibility appeal in a tight 3–2 vote. The ruling follows a previous local District 11-6A decision from June, which claimed his January transfer from Euless Trinity to Fort Worth North Crowley was for athletic purposes. Under UIL rules, transferring for athletic advantage is strictly prohibited. The decision means the elite cornerback will not play his senior season at North Crowley.
