One of the premier youth basketball events of the summer is set to return to Central Texas as the 3rd Annual Circuit of Champions tips off July 4–5 at the Round Rock Sports Center.

Hosted by Big Time Hoops, the tournament will welcome boys and girls teams ranging from 9U through 18U, bringing together programs from across the country for two days of high-level competition. Organizers expect teams from six different states as the event continues to grow into one of the organization’s marquee stops on its national tour.

The tournament features a three-game minimum guarantee, with pool play on Saturday before transitioning into single-elimination bracket play on Sunday. Teams will compete in both Gold and Silver divisions, allowing programs to face opponents with similar experience and skill levels.

Big Time Hoops categorizes participating teams into three competitive tiers:

  • A-Level: National travel teams with championship experience.
  • B-Level: Regional tournament contenders that have consistently advanced through bracket play.
  • C-Level: Developing teams, including newer programs and Parks & Recreation organizations.

One of the weekend’s newest additions is the Content Creator Division, headlined by Rod Wave Elite (RWE) as part of the organization’s nationwide AAU tour. The division is designed to blend competitive basketball with digital media exposure, giving athletes another opportunity to showcase their talents in front of a wider audience.

Adding to that exposure, Astro Sports Agency will serve as the tournament’s official media partner, providing comprehensive event coverage throughout the weekend.

Beyond the competition, participating teams will compete for a berth in the Big Time Hoops National Championships, scheduled for July 18–19 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Every game will be recorded, certified trainers and uniformed officers will be on site, scoreboards and game clocks will be managed by Big Time Hoops staff, and discounted hotel accommodations will be available for traveling teams. A food court will also be available throughout the weekend inside the venue.

The Circuit of Champions continues to expand nationally in 2026, with tournament stops scheduled in cities including Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Dallas, Chicago, Memphis, Myrtle Beach, Greensboro, and several others before culminating with the national championship event.
